Stakeholder consultationwe help you to consult with stakeholders so that more social value can be offered and delivered
The Need: If social value is to be maximised, you’ll need to successfully consult your stakeholders. Getting stakeholders involved at an early stage helps your proposals to “fit” with an area’s strategic objectives and existing regeneration and community development activity. The types of stakeholders that you should consult with are many and varied with examples including jobs brokerage services, community development trusts, sports clubs, colleges and further education institutions and other groups such as mothers & toddlers groups. We will also consider bringing in and consulting with stakeholders from wider networks who might be able to add social value to your particular project.
Our Response: We have lots of experience in relation to stakeholder consultation. We know how to ask the right questions and how to harness the findings of the consultation so that it informs your proposals. Our stakeholder engagement service offering includes:
- Stakeholder mapping – we map stakeholders in a local area in relation to specific strategic objectives and/or procurement requirements of the individual project.
- Engagement – we engage with stakeholders via either telephone calls or face-to-face.
- Remain in contact – we remain in contact with stakeholders to keep them informed of developments and to ensure that they benefit from interventions.
