FSquared were appointed by Balfour Beatty Capital to look at the ways that the project could respond to the regeneration requirements of the Council and ensure that the scheme met the sustainable communities agenda. |

Outcomes
FSquared developed a set of sustainable community proposals that outlined how the development could contribute to the economic and social regeneration of the area. A Sustainable Communities Strategy was developed which set out proposals for the following three themes:
• Connected Communities – including community and stakeholder engagement and Community Safety
• A Thriving Local Economy – proposals designed to maximise the jobs, training and local supply chain opportunities for local residents and businesses
• Active Lifestyles – programmes of activities to stimulate involvement and participation around the arts, sports and health.
