We started FSquared to show that good business is business that makes a social difference – and that businesses that make a social difference do good business. Social responsibility is at our heart; is entwined with what we do and how we work and is embedded in our culture and values.
Our approach is based on the four areas of People, Community, Marketplace and Environment, and our KPIs are grounded in the ten principles of the UN Global Compact. We’re not trying to impress you – trust us – and we’re far from perfect, but we are trying in lots of little ways to make a difference.
And because we want to make a bigger difference, we give 10% of our profits to our charity – the FSquared Foundation.
We’re growing the Foundation’s resources – through funding and in-kind support – so that we can influence sustainable change, from supporting grassroots community projects, through to contributing to research, policy development, and strategic thinking designed to promote the sustainability agenda.
